Emergency Call Processing Soon to be centralised in Paris

There will soon be a joint operations centre for police officers and firefighters in Paris. According to a statement from the French Ministry of Interior, the centre will come into effect by summer 2016 at the latest. The migration to a joint operation centre will start in March.
The common operations centre will provide police officers and firefighters with a common emergency call platform. However, for the time being, it is not planned that this platform would have a unique number. The main objective of this change is to shorten response times and become more operational.
